Congratulations! You’re engaged! Now what?
Brides.com did an article on some things you should do now that you are engaged. Here are a couple of the highlights…
- Call your family! Seriously! Unless you’re keeping it hush-hush let the family know the good news so they can celebrate with you!
- Get a manicure… ok, this one almost seemed odd to me when I read it… but the reason why totally makes sense! People are going to want to see the ring! Which means that your hands are going to be on display A LOT in the next few weeks! So get a little pampering done so your friends don’t see your chipped nail polish and dry cuticles…. Once you get your manicure, your hand will be ready for the RING SELFIE!!!
- Get your ring sized… if it fits- great! If it doesn’t, you don’t want it slipping off accidentally!
- Go ahead… dream a little bit about your wedding. Imagine what you might want, do it together…
There are so many things to do now that you are engaged. Just make sure you take the time together to BE ENGAGED…
